I spent 4 days in this room, with nothing but myself. No electricity, candle light in the night and the short sized bed (that was not fit for my size and I used to pull it down to sleep).
The best part is I was the only guest in the hotel, and I made a good friendship with the hotel owner Abdul Ghaffar Sahab.
My stay in Bumboret made me less afraid of darkness, lonliness and tought me how to deal with isolation. I found Isolation the best to travel since it gives me time to think about the creature of this beautiful world and about myself.
I spent my days shooting the Kalash Valleys while i used to read Travels of Ibn-e-Batuttah in nights.
The hotel was new and i paid Rs. 450 a night. I must say whoever goes to the Bumboret valley must stay with Mr. Ghaffar in Hotel Rose to enjoy his good company.
