Get Inspired

The shot was taken right after sunset at the Clifton Beach, Karachi - Pakistan

Inspiration. Normally our life revolve around things we are inspired with. Everything we do and tend to do is a result of getting inspiration from our surroundings. I started Photography and Traveling similarly. Inspiration to travel came from my Father who is always on the go while photography came from appreciation of nature. But that is not the end, i get inspired everyday from my daily life. From my dreams, from my travelings, from the sunset, from the sunrise, a horse ride at the beach, a trek up to the mountain, reading a nice book, a pigeon flying next to my window, a child on other side of road with a smile full of hope etc etc.

How do you get inspired? Where do you get your inspiration from? Is there anything that you look forward to get inspired? Mentors? Nature? Books? Movies? Do Share!

@Wafa: Why not Wafa? you can take inspiration from most of the things around. But i do agree that there are certain things that we look forward to for core inspiration :)
and trust me, if you think you can travel, you can really do one day! Its just a power of thought….

I second you Danial, the power of thought works like magic. Its just about having an extremely strong belief about what you wanna do :D

  2. From Nida Ahmad:

I am inspired by kindness, those kind of things that people do to make you think, “wow, you really went out of your way.” Kindness even makes an ugly person look like brilliant light. While on the other hand, Harshness makes the most beautiful beauty makes her/him like a rose with thorns – that even the beauty doesn’t really matter. :)

  3. From Carol Jones:

I am inspired by people’s stories. Everyone has a personal story to tell. I love to ask people about themselves and then just listen. I learn wisdom about life, courage, faith and hope. I learn about the world around me and far away places too. I appreciate how people are different from me and how they are the same. People are so inspirational!

    Dear Danial!
    Aoa!
I saw your blog today for the first time. It is very nice and really inspirational. Keep up the good work. I also have a passion for travel. I do not get much time due to my profession, but you can see some of my posts at my blog.
Is there a possibility that I could write one odd post for your blog as a guest blogger and may be you can write one for mine?
I will wait for your answer.
    Best Regards & Allah Hafiz

  6. From Ussama Sajid:

A walk down t hustling n bustling streets of Empress Market n the adjacent Old Saddar Area of Karachi has been ‘surprisingly’ a very inspiring experience during my vacations from t univ …It was my routine for gud abt a month cus f my internship tht (i had 2 catch a buss from t Empress Market)i had 2 walk about kilo meter through all those Victorian Age bazzars to get 2 t busses …. But t ‘life’, t old STONE made BUILDINGS, t harmonized fusion of diff CULTURES n t DIVERSITY… were simply INSPIRING!!!…n t most interesting part of it was ka i found a new dimension of t local culture everyday… jux like tht; a new paradigm n a new perception, every single DAY!!!n i LOOVD IT!!! :-D
PS: Will IA b photographing t place before i set 2 Rawalpindi for t next semester n may upload some shots; if t admin allows ;-)

WELL, ITS MY FIRST TIME I HAVE VISITED YOUR BLOG.
ITS REALLY AMAZING TO SEE HOW AWESOME OUR COUNTRY IS!
I MEAN ITS BEAUTIFUL THAN THOSE COUNTRIES WHO ARE AGGRESSIVELY MARKETING THEIR PLACES IN THE TVS…
A LITTLE MARKETING DONE FOR OUR PLACES WILL SURELY INCREASE TOURIST ACTIVITIES SIGNIFICANTLY!

BY THE WAY BROTHER I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT WHICH CAMERA ARE YOU USING?
    HAVE YOU LEARNED PHOTOGRAPHY?
